COLD SHOULDER TOP AND PANAMA HAT AT THE NYPL

New York Public Library: Cold Shoulder Top and Navy Midi Skirt

If there’s one thing my Mom preached, it was to keep me head up when things looked bleak and that the sun will always come out tomorrow. Turns out (as often was the case).. she was right. And this weekend the sun finally came back out to play. So on Mother’s Day – I borrowed from my Momma again (via her 1970s style) and was inspired to throw together this outfit for a Sunday afternoon trip to Bryant Park.

SHOP THE STORY

There are so many favorite spots of mine in this city that I don’t venture to visit when the weather is cold or bleak – which is just another reason I’ve been so eager for warmer temps to return. Bryant Park and the neighboring New York Public Library really shine in the Spring so yesterday afternoon was a perfect time for my first visit of the season. I wore a fluttery cold shoulder top and an old favorite midi skirt. Mom taught me to appreciate the classics too.
