It kind of goes without saying if you leave anywhere along the East Coast – but the weather we had in New York this weekend was pretty spectacular. It was almost hard to believe that we were Christmas shopping without being weighed down by a winter coat, but by some fluke we got a mid-December weekend in the 60s and so I dressed accordingly.

I picked up these suede tasseled boots in the Fall and was thrilled to get another chance to wear them (snow, slush and salt are known destroyers of boots like these since I walk almost everywhere here). I gave winter a subtle nod with this ski scene sweater and added a slight seventies vibe with this button front denim skirt – then added a tiny touch of plaid, because as evidenced here, here and here.. I can’t get enough this holiday season.
