My personal style varies slightly from day to day, but it’s never exactly what I would describe as bohemian. But with SXSW, Coachella and a slew of other music festivals this Summer – I thought I’d take a bit of inspiration from Festival Season and give it my own, more classic twist.

I wore this dress for the first time here for a day date, but with it’s so comfortable it easily works for a more casual look too. I dressed it down with this embroidered button down (a lighter Spring/Summer alternative to my usual chambray that I’m loving) and my trusty denim jacket. If you are planning on attending a Festival this season, layers are key since at an all day affair temps can be hot by day and cool by night. And since you’re not likely to see me with feathers in my hair anytime soon, a single turquoise tassel necklace adds a subtle touch, aviators are classic cool and a cross body bag keeps my hands free. Finishing touch.. these suede slit-side ankle boots that are made for walking, dancing, or anything else this Spring season throws my way. Anyone headed out on the Festival circuit?
