In New York there is a very small window after it’s first snowed that the city is beautifully blanketed in white (soon after it turns to slush but that’s a story for another day) – and on Saturday morning Adam and I caught it just in time.
It’s been awhile since I’d gone vintage shopping, but since I had the extra time over the long weekend I popped into one of my favorite neighborhood spots (No Relation in the East Village if you’re a local!) and got lucky with this button front plaid mini skirt for only $5! We’re still a few weeks away, but after my Mom sent me candy hearts last week (thanks Mom!) I’m officially in the Valentine’s Day spirit. I know this ‘holiday’ tends to be a bit of a touchy subject for some people – but honestly who can’t find someone they want to share a little extra love with? Some of my favorite Valentine’s have been with my girlfriends, making homemade cards for eachother, getting manicures, or grabbing drinks.
