NYFW STYLE: MOD PRINTED SILK SHIFT DRESS & BARDOT HAIR

The Steele Maiden: NYFW Mod style with Bardot hair and butterfly printed silk shift dress

Short and sweet. Accurately describing my dress and also my NYFW experience this go around. But we’ll start with the outfit shall we? You already know that my favorite style decade is the 60s so when I’m really going for it fashion-wise, I tend to draw from that time period. NYFW LOOK 1: FLARE JEANS AND TEDDY BEAR COAT

NYFW street style: Express flare leg denim and teddy bear coat

In the meantime, I wore this look on Saturday for a presentation at Pier 59 Studios. Let’s take a moment to talk about these bootsContinue reading “NYFW DAY 3: SUEDE OTK BOOTS”

LITTLE RED DRESS

The Steele Maiden: NYC street style wearing LOFT red shirttail dress

It’s become a little tradition with Adam and I to have a NYC staycation over Memorial Day weekend. The city all but empties out and it’s fun to kick off Summer in the city where we live and love. Sunday the streets felt deserted and I hit the pavement in this little red dress.
