Happy February! When I look back on January, most of it was spent in distressed denim and cozy, oversized sweaters (not that I’m complaining..). But because I like a good balance, it felt nice to switch things up a bit and wear something more ladylike to the office last week.

And there goes the weekend. Adam and I spent most of it relaxing, trying out a new (to us) Mexican restaurant in our neighborhood – because margaritas – and enjoying the 60 degree temps (in between downpours that is) that swept through yesterday. Since it’s supposed to be chilly again this week, I’ll be bundled up at the office in a version of this outfit that includes a few extra layers.

During the week things tend to get pretty hectic around here (as in work, gym, dinner, blog, how did it suddenly get past midnight?) and so I rely on an easy set of basics that I can grab and go.
