Between April and September I’ve got 3 weddings, 2 bridal showers and at least 1 Spring party to attend. Not to mention Easter in a couple of weeks. In short, I’m going to need a pretty, flattering, wear to any/all of them dress. And this one is a definite contender.

There are very few brands that I consider an equal match for my beloved New York. A brand that embodies the American spirit of it, the downtown fervor, the street style cool, the uptown elegance, and the tried and true classic-ness that is this unmatched city. Coach however, is one of them. I’ve loved Coach since high school when it was my first ‘designer’ handbag purchase. In my early twenties, I picked up an appreciation for their heritage and scoured thrift stores until I found the perfect vintage 70s backpack. And in the past few seasons I’ve watched as Coach has injected an altogether modern take on their traditional brand. So when they asked me to take a few pieces from their Spring line on a day through New York, I couldn’t have been more excited to show them the town.

When it comes to a warm weather vacation, nearly every hour could be considered happy hour. And Miami had no shortage of places to enjoy a cocktail. On our last day, we explored the Port of Miami and I changed into these neutral suede sandals (super comfortable!) and a scallop print tunic dress to enjoy one last happy hour drink and you know, pretended I own that yacht (dubbed ‘Grand Luxe’) in the backdrop.

I’m back in New York as of yesterday after a whirlwind trip to Miami and am literally bursting to share photos, outfits and must see spots from our travels. It was Adam and I’s first time visiting Miami and the city turned out to be sensory overload in the best possible way. Around every corner was some new explosion of color and flavor of local life. Naturally, I did my best to dress for the occasion.

I find early Spring weather (at least on the East Coast) to be the trickiest of the year. I want to wear Spring outfits, and some days I actually get to, but mostly I’m battling a mix of brisk, windy mornings, rain (or even snow…ugh), and mixed up temperatures. While these outfits never made it to the blog, on Instagram I’ve shared the staples I’m relying on lately to get me through these next few weeks.
