As soon as we landed in Charleston I couldn’t wait to slip into this summer-y outfit. In fact, I had bought these shorts (on majorrrr sale) weeks before and was saving them for exactly this occasion. Well mainly for weather above 60 degrees. But a matching pastel-hued city definitely didn’t hurt.
SHOP THE STORY
Charleston was already hot and humid when we were there so this linen off the shoulder top was nice and airy for walking around town (see the other linen look I wore here). We stopped for rosé and lobster rolls, walked for an hour, ate cupcakes, walked some more.. you get the picture. While I certainly love dresses, this shorts and top pairing felt just as cute but even more practical somehow for eating and wandering our way through town. And these blue suede wedges are quickly becoming favorites no matter the ocassion or the destination (first wore them in Palm Springs here). I get compliments on them constantly and they’ve yet to give my feet a blister. I think they’re going to get along well with New York this summer too. And so will I once our temps stay about 60 degrees…
