When you’re living out of a suitcase, I try and focus on a handful of classics – like a striped shirt and black pleated skirt – and then mix things up with statement accessories – like this plaid scarf/wrap and red sunglasses.

I wore this outfit our first night in Copenhagen while we familiarized ourselves with the Vesterbro neighborhood (more on that in the next post), but I can’t really think of a place or an occasion this outfit wouldn’t work for this Fall. Stripes, plaid, booties.. gang’s all here. Meanwhile back in New York, I’ve justtt started to unpack my suitcase only to pack it again. Adam and I are headed back home to Pennsylvania tonight to celebrate my Pop-pop’s 90th birthday this weekend with family. Where are you off to?
