As far as holidays go, fashion-wise, the Fourth of July is kind of my high holy day. Red, white and blue, stripes, denim. It’s what I wear year-round anyway so I’ll take any further embrace.
SHOP THE STORY
But Fourth of July outfits can also veer over the top. For instance, there’s no need to wear head to toe stars and stripes to give off the Americana vibe. I especially like that this variation has a Seventies, working girl feel, starting with this button front midi skirt from ASOS (my not so secret source for of the moment pieces). And judging by this and this, I’m on quite an off-the-shoulder roll. Finished with platforms and a neckerchief.. maybe the only accessory you need for the rest of the Summer. Check back tomorrow for another unexpected take on Fourth of July style (hint: fringe is involved).
