Well hello there strangers! Sorry for the unexpected few days of radio silence, but between traveling to New Orleans (full city guide coming soon!) and then jumping straight back into New York life/work (plus celebrating Adam’s birthday) – I was barely sleeping let alone finding the time to hit ‘publish’. Luckily I’m back into the swing of things and have lots of new things to share with you around here – including this seventies inspired look.

I picked up this embroidered Spanish style blouse earlier in Spring and it’s proven to be just the thing to throw on and go with a pair of jeans. I usually pair it with my favorite cropped skinnies (now on sale for less than $50!), but these oversized flares lend a retro vibe that I can’t help but love. And if you catch me on a Sunday morning (like when these were taken) you can bet I’ll have messy hair, minimal make-up and a ‘where’s my chai tea?’ face on. Ps. if you’re in the East Village, Ost Cafe is a strong contender for the best one around.
