SPRING FLORALS

This city is in a glorious state of bloom right now (aka my allergies worst nightmare.. but I digress) and a floral dress feels especially fitting.

This navy and white version with a tiny dandelion design can easily be dressed up or down – and I chose the latter earlier this week for a more casual day at the office where I didn’t have any meetings scheduled (I’ve also been pairing it with this striped blazer for a more polished look). Since admittedly I often hit snooze about a million times in the morning, a dress like this makes it easy to be out to door quickly, grabbing a few fun accessories like these tassel earrings and ivory sunglasses on my way out. Everything else gets thrown into whatever handbag I’m carrying that day – and this new Dagne Dover cork number is quickly becoming my number one choice. It’s small in size but thanks to an insanely well thought out design (holders for your cell phone, lipstick, business cards, etc – I basically obsessively show everyone the inside of my bag…) – it neatly fits a ton. Because sometimes a lady needs a little extra help staying organized. And maybe 5-10 more minutes of sleep in the morning.
