Stripes, denim, ankle boots.. they don’t call ’em classics for nothing. Truth be told, I wear some version of that trio a lot so when I can find a way to shake things up (even slightly) I do. Last weekend I opted for a slightly 90s take on the combo with this boxy denim jacket over a striped mini-dress, hoop earrings, and these instant cool-factor ivory ankle boots.

I’ve been seeing this ivory/putty/cream color, seen here on both my bag and boots, pop up everywhere lately and I’m loving it for spring/summer. It’s like if you left your favorite white t-shirt out in a desert storm for a few days (or.. you know, attending Coachella). Speaking of festival season – this outfit would probably be right at home.
