When it comes to a warm weather vacation, nearly every hour could be considered happy hour. And Miami had no shortage of places to enjoy a cocktail. On our last day, we explored the Port of Miami and I changed into these neutral suede sandals (super comfortable!) and a scallop print tunic dress to enjoy one last happy hour drink and you know, pretended I own that yacht (dubbed ‘Grand Luxe’) in the backdrop.
SHOP THE STORY
I always love nautical styles for spring and you can never go wrong with navy and white in my opinion. This tunic dress was perfect for travel because it’s a lightweight stretch cotton which meant very few wrinkles and it took up zero space in my bag. Plus it could be worn over a pair of white skinny jeans with flat sandals for day or with lot’s of leg and heels for evening. I added windswept hair (okay actually the breezy waterfront air added this…), daisy statement earrings, a clear plastic clutch and bright pink lipstick for a slightly mod 60s feel. And truly you can’t help but feel a little glamorous in front of a yacht like the one behind me. Cheers to the weekend friends.
