Yesterday, I went the way of classic romance for a Valentine’s Day look – but I thought it would be fun to share a look inspired by Galentine’s Day (all hail Amy Poehler for this gem of a holiday) or for any other fun Girl’s Night Out. And since I’m so newly obsessed with this pink striped t-shirt (under $20!) I’m also going to be wearing it in tomorrow’s post for a casual look. Apparently, I’m in the mood for love.

I like to feel comfortable but still get a little dressed up if I’m going out for a drink with girlfriends which is why a t-shirt, bomber jacket and mini skirt combo is my go-to. And I’ve worn these boots a ton throughout the Fall/Winter but they’re never easier than with almost all black and white – simple yet striking. And even better on floor to 2nd story white marble (as found on this outdoor promenade on the Upper West Side). Now go grab your Galentine and take her out for a night on the town. Or at the very least, call her and tell her you love her. And that she probably needs this pink striped t-shirt too.

Loving this look, I always find over-the-knee boots to look a little too “sexy” but the touches of baby pink really sweeten up the look! Those sunglasses are so cute!
