HOW TO: STYLE SUMMER DRESSES FOR FALL

I know I’m all heart-eye emojis over Fall boots around here – but the truth is, I hate saying goodbye to my Summer dresses. This white maxi dress was one of my favorites these past couple of months (last seen here) and with a few simple styling tricks I plan on wearing it straight through the seasons.

If you’ve been a follower for awhile then you probably know I’ve been pretty faithful to a certain denim jacket. But then I met this one. Clean lines, vaguely retro feeling yet completely modern and already super worn in (so I don’t have to do the 5 year leg-work I did on the previous one), it’s going to be my new favorite layering piece this season. And just when you thought I was giving my hat head a break.. we’re easing in to wool hat season and I was able to break out this navy beauty from last year (that’s luckily still available!). Wore it with these stacked sandals but how cute would it be with tights and these fringe booties too? I’m all about making things do double duty.
