New Yorkers take brunch very seriously. But on a Sunday roll-out of bed and go kind of morning I don’t have time to take fashion very seriously. Insert here a dress that feels like pajamas and an armful of accessories that I grabbed on my way out the door.

I’ve had this dress since early Spring and it’s so easy to layer – this time with the striped shirt that I warned you I’d be wearing repeatedly. And since the rest of the outfit is such a no brainer I went with fun (but still neutral) accessories – like this wood bead necklace wrapped as a bracelet and metallic straw clutch (my favorite new item because it is basically the modern day take on Sophia from Golden Girl’s straw purse.. please tell me someone out there gets this reference).
