As I’ve heavily streamlined my closet this year, the color palette has been largely honed to the following: black, white, red, blue, tan, repeat. And while I have been feeling more at east than ever among those hues, I never want to feel bored by it. So to mix things up, I like to play with shapes and patterns.
SHOP THE STORY
By this point, it’s no secret that I’m big on the off-the-shoulder trend (wore this top previously here and here.. p.s. it’s only $25!) and a fit and flare skirt has long since been my go to shape. This however, is my first time pairing gingham with animal print and I like the way they play off one another. Just dressed up enough for date night but also comfortable enough for an afternoon stroll through the city.
