We’ve officially reached New York’s dog days of Summer. Hours upon hours of hot sun and hotter pavement. And I love it. But I need a wardrobe that can survive it too.

This tent dress (a.k.a. a dress that barely actually even touches my body) is perfect. Not to mention that the eyelet top is like built in ventilation. I wore it with these striped sneakers and little else for a day exploring New York’s South Street Seaport. If you live in the city and haven’t explored this neighborhood you’re totally missing out. Brooklyn’s Smorgasburg just joined in on the fun, there’s a Mexican food joint complete with Airstream (El Luchador.. delicious) dining and the cutest bars, galleries, florists and cobblestone streets you could ask for. Anyone else explore their own city this weekend?
