“Edit your life frequently and ruthlessly. It’s your masterpiece, after all.” – Nathan W. Morris I came across that quote over the weekend and it’s really stuck with me. Whether it’s my life or my wardrobe, I’ve felt more compelled than ever to edit out the mediocre and save room only for what feels truly important.
SHOP THE STORY
When I look at my closet these days it consists almost entirely of shades of white, blue, black and pops of red (like this dress). And not surprisingly, those have always been the colors I’ve favored wearing. This white lace detail top is new but definitely feels like it will be getting a ton of wear. Whether dressed up with a pencil skirt for the office or thrown on over a bathing suit with a pair of cutoffs. Another recent edit? My hair – about 4 or 5 inches shorter and several shades lighter it feels like a breath of fresh air for Summer.

So funny, lately I seem to only find myself wearing blues, white, black and red, too ( and, of course, stripes!). Here’s to an edited, paired down life!
P.S. Still loving that top so much….I think I might have to snag it for summer!
