We’re in the full swing of wedding season (showers, bachelorette parties, the big day..) and in efforts to avoid my usual trap of buying wayyy too many different dresses, I’m taking a different approach this year. I teamed up with one of my favorite brands, French Connection, this week to show you how just one dress can get you through it all. Yesterday, I took it to a Bridal Shower, and today? We’re talking Rehearsal Dinner-wear. Better still? You can win this sequin showstopper for yourself! ENTER HERE.
SHOP THE STORY
The body hugging fit of this dress, made it perfect for tucking into a swishy midi skirt. Not to mention completely transforming it from yesterday’s skirt and crop top look.. a great trick for when your family and friends are all attending the same circuit of weddings as you in a season and you don’t want to be caught wearing the exact same thing each time. For a Rehearsal Dinner I like to keep things a bit more subdued, but still festive, and the feminine flare of this skirt mixed with cat-eye sunglasses gave it a fun retro feel. On a side note – this dress morphs like gorgeous fish scales in the light, so while yesterday I played up the ivory and pinks, this time I drew on the blues and greens by mixing in these navy sandals and mint clutch. Tomorrow I’m revealing my final look in the series so be sure to come back then!
