When Adam and I set out on Sunday for a walk through Central Park, we were headed somewhere different entirely (in search of Bow Bridge to be exact). But as a shortcut we decided to pass by the Bethesda Fountain and Terrace. And suddenly, we took one look at the beautiful mosaics and grand archways and another look at my outfit – printed palazzo pants and tassel accessories – and stopped in our tracks.

That’s what I love about this city.. and I guess fashion too. Little moments of magic are always just a block (or an accessory) away. Meanwhile the break in weather has completely rejuvenated my desire to get dressed and so I’ve been slowly working warm weather pieces (like these thin cotton printed pants) into my daily look. Since they’ve already got a sort of Moroccan vibe, I added on a couple of tasseled accessories – these earrings (super lightweight while still statement making) and this oversized clutch. Next best thing to a vacation I tell ya.
