I’ve been talking a lot lately about buying smarter when it comes to my wardrobe and streamlining when it comes to my style. And this outfit pretty much sums that all up.

I realized I didn’t even own a white button down shirt before last week (when my friends at Talbots were sweet enough to add my monogram to this crisp version) and already I know I’m going to get endless wear out of this. Layered under a sweater, knotted up at the waist over a printed skirt or undone as a swimsuit cover-up.. the options are pretty much endless. But for its first run, I paired it with these jeans (which I wear constantly – am planning on picking up the white version for Spring/Summer!) plus striped heels and oversized sunglasses. Some things just never go out of style.
