This past weekend it finally felt like summer. 90 degrees and endless sun. It’s the kind of weather that makes you want to pack a picnic, or throw a backyard party. And so naturally.. you’ll need something to wear. This seersucker off the shoulder dress is it. I’ve deemed it my ‘summer occasion dress‘. And if that occasion ends up being just a walk to the corner ice cream truck.. I won’t mind.

Aside from the occasional bridesmaid dress, I have attended countless weddings in some form of the same dress for the past 10 years. Just above the knee, nipped in waist and finished with a frill or a flounce or a floral for effect. And honestly, I love those dresses (this one especially). They’re flattering, classic and work well for dancing. But with 5 weddings on the docket this summer I was craving something different. Something that made an entrance, you know? Well, I found it.
