After 7 winters in New York City (and a lifetime on the East Coast) – I think it’s safe to say I’ve learned a thing or two about proper footwear. There are boots that are perfect for light, fluttery snow with a side of somewhat slick streets that I would NEVER think about wearing on the 2nd day after a big snowstorm when the slush is calf-deep off the edge of every single curb.
