This week is quickly slipping by as Adam and I prep for our upcoming getaway – so in the meantime I’m bringing you this forgotten last look from NYFW. Truth be told – I ended up switching out of these boots for these sneakers about two hours into the day. But footwear aside this outfit was a good balance of fun/fashionable and effortless/comfortable aka that line I’m always trying to walk. Which is admittedly easier done in sneakers.
It seems, as evidenced by yesterday’s look, that I’ve officially been bitten by the off the shoulder (or OTS) bug. Coupled with OTK boots (over the knee that is) and this saucy little number was ready for a night out last Friday. As seen IRL (in real life.. and I swear I’m done).
I know, I know.. it’s only January. But I’m kind of over Winter fashion. Or at the very least, investing much in it. Since I’m already pretty well stocked on sweaters and boots – I’m carefully picking up pieces that I can wear now and also wear later. Here’s look at you, early Spring.
Yesterday I shared my ‘something for every single guy in your life and on your list’ Gift Guide for Him. And today, I’m back with the edition for all the special ladies in your life. While I won’t lie to you and say I’m not picking up one or two items off this list for myself (like this sparkly NYE contender) – for the most part I’ve got gifts in mind and this round-up will cover them all. Whether you’re looking for a cute under $25 gift for a co-worker, a new it-bag for your ‘she’s already got everything’ sister, a pop of preppy plaid for your always chic best friend or something to pamper your hard-working mama – it’s all here. Hover over the images above to shop or scroll down to browse by section. I’m doing all my homework (and adding to cart) this weekend so that I can be ready to hit ‘buy’ when Black Friday and Cyber Monday roll around (I’ll be your source for all those can’t miss sales too). Happy shopping!
On Saturday as we drove back to the city from the lake house there was a moment at a stoplight in which Adam and I looked at each other and we realized we were smack dab in the middle of the most picturesque small town… and since Adam is always scouting his next picture and I’m always chasing cute stoops/houses this place was pretty much a Fall dream. So promptly, the car was pulled over and we went for a wander.
