Hellloooo weekend! While I may not be jetting back to Barcelona (as pictured above from my visit back in 2008) any time soon, it’s supposed to be in the high 70s tomorrow (!!!) and I’ve got a brand new pair of sandals just waiting for a fresh pedicure and some of that sunshine. After several beautiful Spring days here in New York, I have zero weather complaints. Even if it means a rainy day here and there. All the better to test out this new waterproof jacket with a cute striped lining, I say! My hair.. on the other hand.. has a different opinion about the rain.

PALAZZO PANTS AND TASSELS
When Adam and I set out on Sunday for a walk through Central Park, we were headed somewhere different entirely (in search of Bow Bridge to be exact). But as a shortcut we decided to pass by the Bethesda Fountain and Terrace. And suddenly, we took one look at the beautiful mosaics and grand archways and another look at my outfit – printed palazzo pants and tassel accessories – and stopped in our tracks.

Last week I had the chance to visit the showroom of OnePointSix – a relatively new line, designed and produced here in New York’s Garment District, a part of town not talked about nearly enough in this fashionable city, but one I’m always happy to support. The line was built to fill the void for classic yet modern, well-fitted pieces in a professional woman’s wardrobe. In short – death to the skirt suit.
