If you follow me on Instagram (or newly, on snapchat at ‘thesteelemaiden’) then you already know that Friday’s impossible cold brought frozen pipes in our apartment that Adam and I spent all Friday night nursing back to life. Needless to say, by Saturday morning we were more than ready to get out of the apartment and the city to head home to Pennsylvania for a quick 24 hour trip.
Saturday (or Day 3 in NYFW speak) was in short, a really great day. It was one of my busiest days at the Lincoln Center tents, plus Valentine’s Day, and generally just one of those picture perfect snowy New York days.
Somehow, I woke up this morning and it was Day 5 of NYFW. Even though I’ve been through this rodeo before, it never fails to amaze me just what a beautiful blur the days become once Fashion Week is at full steam.
Yesterday Adam and I spent the day exploring the tiny, and impossibly cute towns of Lambertville, NJ and New Hope, PA. Just over an hour outside the city – but feels like a world away – the towns are separated by a short bridge and filled with shops, galleries, and pretty homes like this one.
