I recently picked up this embroidered detail blouse and when I went to find it online for you all realized that it had quickly sold out (the one shoulder version or dress version are still available though). After searching ‘stripe off the shoulder top’ to find something similar, approximately 1 million cute options appeared. It’s worth stating – this look is having a major moment. There is a very explicit happiness that I attach to Spring jackets. They signify a distinct shift – when the weather is not quite fully warm yet, but allows for the first chance to shrug your shoulders out of those oppressive Winter coats. SPRING TRENDS: WIDE LEG CHINOS

The Steele Maiden: Spring trends - wide leg chinos and bell sleeves

You guys. I hate to start every post talking about the weather.. but at heart I’m an 80 year old woman strolling through New York (this works well because at heart Adam is an 80 year old man grumbling about New York) and ALL I can talk about is our current weather. It’s glorious and giving me hope that I can in fact survive until true Spring. No better time to break out a new Spring trend then, right? Wide leg chinos are having a major moment for the season ahead and even though I was nervous to try them – I can tell you that they absolutely deserve a place in your wardrobe.
