Yesterday I styled these velvet jeggings in a way that was simple yet chic for the office or casual holiday parties – but because honestly I just can’t get enough of them and wore them multiple times on our recent travels, I’m back with a more weekend ready alternative.
SHOP THE STORY
After we left London we headed to the Cotswolds (a tiny string of villages set in the English countryside – have you ever seen The Holiday? Picture Jude Law and Cameron Diaz) and while I knew it was going to be rustic and relaxing, I had no idea how fairytale-like and truly idyllic it would be. The whole time I felt like I was living out my Jane Austin fantasies with perfect little towns strung through rolling hills filled with grazing sheep along narrow back roads. So dreamy. For our one full day of exploring I wore this countryside/riding inspired look.
These velvet jeggings truly are incredibly versatile and I already know I’m going to be living in this classic navy peacoat and leather riding boots all Fall. Do you think if I click the heels together I’ll be transported back? A girl can keep dreaming right…
Talbots Peacoat, Turtleneck, Cashmere Scarf, Velvet Jeggings and Knee High Riding Boots c/o (ps. I found the calves on these boots to run a little narrow, but after wearing them a few times they really broke in and fit a lot more comfortably. Just something to keep in mind!)
