This past weekend it finally felt like summer. 90 degrees and endless sun. It’s the kind of weather that makes you want to pack a picnic, or throw a backyard party. And so naturally.. you’ll need something to wear. This seersucker off the shoulder dress is it. I’ve deemed it my ‘summer occasion dress‘. And if that occasion ends up being just a walk to the corner ice cream truck.. I won’t mind.

We quickly snapped these photos while we were uptown on Sunday morning and looking at them now, it’s reminding me that we need to go up there more often. In a city this big, it’s easy to get stuck in your own neighborhood but now that the weather is nice we’re really trying to expand our usual weekend routine (read more about our summer goal here). Heading back to The Met , Little Red Lighthouse and Central Park are all on my checklist. Hope you’re finding ways to explore your own city or town in a new way this season too!
