Denim. Culotte. Jumpsuit. Three words that honestly should not work together. But there it was wavering in my online shopping cart. Should I? Shouldn’t I? And then I went and tried the thing on. And turns out.. it does work. Magically so.

So I gave in to the slightly seventies, slightly country vibe – and suddenly realized it was just the thing my closet had been missing this spring. Managing to be more chic (and infinitely more unexpected) than a pair of jeans, but equally comfortable. In short, a very happy little surprise. I wore this look at last week’s Lovely Happenings event and it held up through mixing cocktails for a crowd as well as lunch and a stroll through the West Village afterwards.
