WINTER LAYERS AND LACE UP HEELS

I didn’t originally intend to take so many days off from posting for the holidays, but I just sort of slowly unplugged at Christmas and this past weekend.. and it felt pretty great. I’m hoping all of you had the chance to do the same. Feeling refreshed and ready to get back at it for the last few days of 2015 (how did that happen again??!)

We’re finally getting a few colder days here in New York and so I jumped at the chance to break out this long grey coat (picked up during Black Friday but it’s on major sale again and smaller sizes are going fast!). I layered with a thin quilted vest, plaid button down and cozy pom hat – and then braved cold ankles because these shoes are just too good to sit in my closet all winter. I’ve got the next week off work and can’t wait to bundle up and run around an all but empty New York City.
