October! One of my favorite months of the whole year. New York almost always hands us pitch perfect weather, the leaves turn, it still feels like there is time left before the craze of the holidays sets in and winter is still distant enough for me to go on pretending it will never come. To celebrate, I tossed on alllll the Fall colors and Adam and I took a stroll through Soho one crisp morning before work.

While I could go on and on about this plaid blazer (and I likely will) or this cashmere sweater (just the right fit) – but the real point of this post is the scarf. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Talbots teamed up with 5 female artists to create a limited edition collection of silk scarves (I chose this one with beautiful watercolor silhouettes of women’s faces). Each retails for $69.50 and 20% of proceeds go towards the National Breast Cancer Foundation. It’s a cause very near to my heart as my late Nan and Aunt were both breast cancer survivors, so any small part I can play in contributing feels like a step in the right direction.
