Oh you know, just out here collecting firewood for our decorative fireplace.. ha. But really, I finally revealed the before/after of our Fireplace Makeover and am still kind of just staring at it in awe. Home is always what you make of it and a little bit of DIY magic can go a long way in my opinion.

Speaking of home, these photos were taken at the farm in PA where Adam grew up. I love living in the city but it’s nice to have another “home” back in the country that we can always go to visit. Can’t a girl just have an apartment in the city, a rustic country cottage, a European pied-à-terre and a beach house to call her own?? Ha. Tell Santa what’s on my wishlist will you?
Meanwhile, if you’re out in the country this holiday season (or just a city kid picking out her Christmas tree) I love this red plaid coat and shearling hiking boots combo. Comfy, cozy and still a little bit festive.
