Now that it’s officially November, I think it’s fair to start throwing the world ‘holidays’ around, right? I picked up this emerald green jumpsuit for our trip (specifically for our time in Edinburgh, Scotland – because if we’re being honest I pack really strategically with outfits inspired by each place) but once I wore it realized immediately how perfect it will be for holiday parties this season.
SHOP THE STORY
Or even a winter wedding?! It’s just so much more unexpected than a dress and feels somehow super modern to me in this rich emerald green as opposed to say bright red or gold sequins or something. Although it comes in black and navy too if that’s your thing. All in all it’s so good, my sister has already bought one too for her own office holiday party in December. She’s always scrambling for my help at the last minute so pretty proud that we got this checked off the list so early this year – plus you don’t have to deal with your size being sold-out or express shipping woes. Feel free to invite us both to your holiday party. Promise we’re fun guests.
Side note – these photos were taken on one of the prettiest streets we spotted in Edinburgh called ‘Circus Lane’ in the Stockbridge neighborhood where we stayed. So tiny you could have walked right by and missed it if you weren’t looking. Traveling is so good for your senses that way. It really opens up your eyes and ears (and mind and heart) in ways that just don’t always happen during your regular day to day routine. I’m grateful for that. And emerald green jumpsuits, naturally.
Emerald Green Jumpsuit (note: this runs a little large so you may want to size down and the legs are long – at 5’4″ I’ll likely get mine hemmed before wearing it again) and Lark & Ro Leather Moto Jacket c/o Amazon Fashion | Topshop Statement Earrings | Buxom Matte Lipstick | Talbots Plaid Heels
