We headed to Charleston in search of warm, sunny weather to escape the cold, dreary spring we’ve been suffering from in New York. And we got exactly what we were looking for. The days were nearly 90 degrees – with plenty of humidity to go around – so I was thankful that I had packed these easy linen pieces from Old Navy.
SHOP THE STORY
This white linen blazer turned out to be one of the most worn items in my suitcase – from the plane ride down to morning breakfast on the rooftop of our hotel to throwing on over dresses in chilly restaurants – it’s just insanely versatile. And these striped shorts are so much breezier than my typical denim shorts. If you’re headed out of town on Memorial Day they’re must-haves (even Adam picked up a new linen shirt and shorts – evidenced here) for staying cool and looking effortless. Because summer means more ice cream outings, pool float wars and backyard bbqs… less fussing over what to wear.
