If you’ve been reading The Steele Maiden for a very long time than you know that 5 years ago Adam and I packed up his car, drove cross country and landed on the West Coast for a year and a half in the sun. So this trip back was a sweet little trip down memory lane. One of the closest beaches to where we lived was Santa Monica and we spent lots of days and nights on this particular stretch of sand.

Since mornings on the beach can still be a little bit cool and overcast this time of year, this printed rash guard one piece was perfect. I’m obsessed with the fit on this – tight and slimming but still really comfortable and movable – and can’t wait to wear it for splashing in the ocean this summer, paddle boarding on the lake and even laps in the gym pool. A baseball cap and easy slides felt equally sporty and sleek. Lifeguard officially off duty.
