If I was going to attend Coachella, this is what I’d wear. Instead though – we went to Palm Springs a week before the floral crown wearing crowds descended for the trendiest music festival of the year, because frankly all those crowds and all that fanfare freak me out. So this is about as festival style as it gets for me.

That festival style term itself kind of freaks me out because I picture previously mentioned floral crowns, countless crop tops and those very tall gladiator sandals. Which is fine if that’s your style. But my own has always leaned more towards the classic side of things. So if I were to attend a music festival (I actually went to Jazz Fest in New Orleans a few years back and loved it – because the focus was actually you know, on the music), I would wear this lightweight romper, straw hat and sunglasses (that dessert heat is no joke), comfy fringe espadrilles and a crossbody bag to stash my essentials. But in the meantime I have a feeling I’ll be wearing this exact outfit around the city quite a bit this spring and summer.
