OVERSIZED SWEATER AND GREY BOATER HAT

Taking a brief break from all of that Fall Foliage (posts from our Maine road trip here, here and here) to show you an easy fall city look that I wore last week. I’ve always loved a monochromatic mix and this grey on grey look incorporates a few of my favorite accessories this season like these suede high boots and boater hat.

I wore this look to work and straight to an event afterwards with the Netherlands Board of Tourism. After our trip to Amsterdam last fall (actually exactly a year ago to date! See my favorite style post from the trip here and my travel guide here), I’ve been obsessed with the city and Adam and I have been dreaming of going back to explore even more of Holland. Aside from the culture and history, I love the style (furniture, clothing, all of it) that comes from that region of the world. There’s just something so effortlessly cool about Dutch design. Hoping these slouchy separates and minimal color palette channels a bit of that.
