Thank goodness that winter weather from last week wasn’t here to stay (yet) and I’m able to sneak in a few more days of bare legs. Since I know that won’t last forever, I soaked up the weekend’s fall weather in this jacquard floral miniskirt and simple layers. Plus a velvet hair bow – because I can’t stop lately.

My denim jacket has long since been a staple in my wardrobe, but the bomber jacket is new to me this season and I’ve been finding it really comes in handy when I want an extra layer but don’t need a full coat. Or, sadly for the days when I’m going to need a full coat and a jacket underneath. Plus the fact that this one’s reversible (polka dots on the other side) makes it even more versatile.
P.S. Happy Halloween! Does a black velvet hair bow and pointy toe patent leather flats count as a make-shift friendly witch? If so, consider this my costume. We don’t usually get trick or treaters since not many young kids live in our building, but I’m excited to walk around the neighborhood tonight and see everyone dressed up!
