There’s nothing quite like the promise of a new season. After a summer that admittedly had its ups and downs (see here: the great computer crash of August and the sinus turned kidney infection that struck in July), I’m ready to start a fresh chapter of the year. One of the ways that for me always marks a new season is new fashion.. however, I’m not quite ready to store away my white denim. Luckily, a neutral mix like this one works well in any season.

There’s a definite Faye Dunaway circa Bonnie & Clyde vibe here and if I pull off even the faintest level of her chic-ness than I’ll happily take the association. I’m usually all about a wide brimmed wool for fall but I was determined to try something new and this beret is definitely it. From there, I piled on the neutrals (including the tiniest hint of print) and Adam and I were off to stroll around South Street Seaport. I like the looks of you Fall.
