I originally picked up this palm print minidress for my girls’ trip to New Orleans a few weeks back (that travel guide is still coming soon I promise!) because it felt like just the thing for a Jazz Brunch and wander through the Garden District. And also because it’s lightweight and breezy for that famous Nola heat. But with temps reaching the mid-nineties in New York this week I figured it was time to break it back out.
SHOP THE STORY
Over the weekend Adam and I stopped off in Washington Square Park for a picnic before we wandered around the streets towards Greenwich Village. I paired the dress with these lace-up espadrilles which I’ve been wearing constantly for travel, work and play (it’s no wonder they’re selling out quickly – still available in a few sizes here and here – and they also come in a cute stripe!) and keeping the rest of my accessories to a minimum in this humidity. On our way towards the West Village we stopped by his blue townhouse which is tucked into one of my favorite corner streets (Minetta Lane) and just so happens to finally have a for sale sign out front for one of the apartments inside. Now who wants to loan me $6 mill? Promise I’ll let you use my wall for blog photos…
