How it’s already Wednesday and this is my first post of the week, I’ll never know. This week (and I hate to admit it this whole summer) feels like it’s flying by in a blur. Anyone else? Most Mondays-Thursdays pass me by with work days that last anywhere from 10-13 hours on average, trying to squeeze in a couple of workouts or a date night with Adam and you know.. that little thing called sleep. Which means that on the weekends I’ve been trying to reallyyyy slow down and savor it – which means no fuss outfits like this fringed summer sweater and my favorite high-waisted denim shorts.
SHOP THE STORY
In summer, I find the little details go a long way – like the fringe on the hem of a sweater, sparkle on a pair of sandals or stripes on the strap of an otherwise neutral bag. This one from Fossil adds just the right amount of pattern and color since lately just about all I’ve been reaching for are simple blues and whites. Because if it’s the weekend you can bet I traded those extra minutes standing in front of my closet for that little thing called sleep.
