Anyone else ready for Friday?? Since I was traveling last weekend, I’m desperately ready for a few days off to just relax. And laundry. And cleaning. Okay, I’ve got some things to catch up on. Especially since weeknights have quickly filled up with excuses to stay out until sundown. When the weather is this good, I just can’t bear to race home to those pesky chores. I wore this look just last night for a night of rosé sipping in Nolita.

The last time I wore this kimono I was in tropical Miami and ever since I’ve been trying to figure out how to make it work for New York life. It finally clicked when I needed a match for this sheer, white lace dress. Plus white oversized cat eye sunglasses (have you heard of Quay Australia brand yet? If not you need to check them out. Not #sponsored – just truly a big fan of their fun, modern styles for right around $50 a pair) and white ankle strap heels (I’ve worn these constantly with no signs of slowing down and now they’re on sale!). I call this look ‘unexpected evening’. My favorite kind in summer.
