If you’ve been stopping by lately (and thanks if that’s the case!) then you already know that I’m wayyyy into the holiday spirit. Christmas records on repeat, fresh wreath making, tree trimming.. all of it. And outfits are no exception (this one is great for your office party and this one is a standout for a holiday dinner party). This one was the most thrown together but may be one of my favorites – because it balances the fine line between comfy and casual and dressed up glitz.

This look is exactly something that I’d wear for a holiday gathering with friends on a Saturday night – already most likely wearing this buffalo plaid shirt I’d change out of my jeans, toss on this glam maxi skirt, fancy flats (that I can wear on the subway or dance ’til dawn in), red lips (just tried out this brand of matte lipstick and I swear it’s one of the best I’ve ever worn – super long lasting and doesn’t flake) and paint the town.. well you know the color.
