Day 1 of NYFW was grey. And so I dressed the part. Actually, I picked out my outfits a few days in advance and rain or shine I would have been in this monochrome, slightly borrowed from the boys look.

I spent the morning backstage at the Nicholas K show (sleek ponytails, bold metal cuff bracelets and voluminous layers – read my full report here) and between a 6 AM wakeup call, rainy weather and a full work day waiting for me back at the office post-show I knew I wanted to be comfortable.
