This weekend marked the end of Summer and also, the end of our laze about, do whatever we want weekends. For awhile at least. The next 6 weeks are going to be busy in The Steele Maiden world (NYFW kicks off this week and our trip to Europe will be here before I know it) – so I took the chance to really relax these past 4 days.

I picked up this lightweight v-neck sweater and now that it’s on sale I’m thinking of grabbing it in a few more shades. It’s one of those basics that can easily be layered or dressed up if need be. But since I was in a long weekend state of mind I kept it super casual with these slim boyfriend jeans, a leopard scarf and pair of cute flats. Which are perfect for walking around the neighborhood and for saving my feet from the inevitable upcoming pain that comes with running around Fashion Week in heels.
