This weekend’s escape to Ocean City, NJ was hard to describe as anything other than perfect. Weather hovered at exactly 75 degrees with nearly cloudless skies and we balanced long lazy hours on the beach with pancake breakfast dates and bike rides down the boardwalk.

As always, I packed light for the trip and just easy pieces like this white eyelet shirtdress made the cut. Plus, a few easy to wear accessories like my new favorite Panama hat, striped tote (seen in yesterday’s post too!) and these slide-on flats. They were perfect for activities like renting bikes (how cute is this pink one with the basket? I didn’t want to return it) and heading to the beach (true story: I don’t own a pair of flip flops – a pair like these are infinitely cuter and just as easy to slip on and off). It should also be noted that the boardwalk, all full of charm, was also full of people on a Sunday morning. But as always, Adam works magic behind the camera and these shots make it look like we had the place to ourselves. The results are a Summer dream.
