Saturday (or Day 3 in NYFW speak) was in short, a really great day. It was one of my busiest days at the Lincoln Center tents, plus Valentine’s Day, and generally just one of those picture perfect snowy New York days.

So I ran in and out of shows (Mara Hoffman was my favorite of the day and proved turtlenecks under dresses, cool un-done braids, and bold varied stripes are here to stay), went on exactly 3 separate dates with Adam in between events (Hamilton’s Soda Fountain, an old-fashioned diner in the West Village for lunch, Ice skating in Central Park at dusk, and dinner and a movie in the East Village at night) and to top it all off – wore this outfit which may be one of my all time favorites. I started with this bold red gingham skirt (which I designed and made back in college), added this quilted denim cocoon coat and finished with the new loves of my closet life – these baby blue suede tasseled loafer heels. Oh, and the look got snapped by legendary grandfather of street style photography – Bill Cunningham himself. Like I said, a really great day.
